What you will play
Poncle's older HTML5 demo is a compact introduction to the survival loop: move, collect experience and choose upgrades while enemies close in. The author lists seven characters and one stage for this web edition. It does not include the current Steam game's full content.
Before you play
Legacy demo, version 0.2.4 observed. The author says web saves cannot currently be transferred to Steam. Gameplay occurs on itch.io.
Checked 2026-10-30: Play session observed: selected Antonio and started a run with moving enemies and an advancing timer. A full run, reliable movement controls and save transfer have not been verified.
Get started
- Open poncle's page and choose Run game.
- Activate the game canvas, press to start and select an available character.
- Move around enemies and gather experience gems. Weapons attack automatically; choose upgrades when offered.
Controls
The author lists keyboard, mouse, controller and touch support. Focus the game before using directional controls.
If you get stuck
Choose Run game, then focus the canvas. This older demo does not match current paid releases. The author says web saves cannot be transferred to Steam; keep a separate save backup.
